Thanks Paul! Wouldn't have known that 1.5 is in the upper range if I didn't put this article out here. And thanks for the reference too, will check Nick's stuff out.
I would look at fee only advisors. You really don’t want to give away such a massive portion (even though it seems small number wise) every year of your life.
I love this. "Turns out everything, no matter how intimidating, is just a conversation." It's so true, and when you say it that way it's a reminder of all the things that are possible with communication and the willingness to ask questions and ask for help.
Just watch out for those advisor fees :-). 1.5 is a lot. Nick Magiulli has some good writing in this.

That makes a lot of sense. I'll look up at what's available around here. The search begins! Thanks Paul :)
Yes to financial independence and yes to A Little Life 👌🏼
I just finished reading it. What do I do with my little life now?!

Thanks Rick. It's one of the trickier things to communicate (and I still felt a bit nervous putting this out there) but I knew I had to!
So glad you ended up writing about this! Wealth management should be for everyone!
Thanks Lavinia, I remember you nudging me on this! It really should. Money is such a confusing conversation!
