This is so insightful! I like how you take your camera everywhere. You sparked an idea -- I’m inspired to schedule a mini writing session during my lunch hour. Time to sprinkle in some creativity throughout the workday
I love the "keeping it small" reminder. I think that one gets overlooked a lot!! There's a benefit to playing with size like that, whether it's with painting or writing, I think it presents the opportunity to help you really focus on particular things craft-wise because it's less daunting.
Totally agree. I wonder how small I can go... I kind of "cheated" on my Substack post this week by posting a series of images, but it was slightly quicker than writing something from scratch.
Thanks for this reminder. Definitely struggling with this "Figuring out what works best for you without it pressuring your creative energy is a delicate balance." But mostly because I have taken on too many commitments to publish.
You're amazing at publishing a lot! What I've seen from a lot of creators online is they cross-post their thoughts quite a bit or repeat their talking points but just repackage it a bit differently... and I think it's becoming a bit more acceptable to do that instead of posting something unique on every single platform.

Omigosh, how has that been going? Lunch hour writing sessions sound like an amazing idea.
Love how this piece turned out Rebecca. Such powerful and poignant reminders for creators or people who want to infuse more creativity in their lives.
Awesome work :)
Thanks, Tommy! Always tricky to make space for creativity but it's always fun to make it work.
